Technical Assistant - CoMMA

The City of Morganton is seeking an individual to provide technical support for events and productions!

Duties and responsibilities include:

Assists with technical support for events held at CoMMA

Identifies faulty/broken equipment and assists in repairs

Act as stage manager for locally sponsored events

Maintains neat and clean shop and stage appearance

Assists with backstage hospitality services

Fills in with box office activities as needed

Ideal candidate will have three or more years’ experience in theatre technical production and considerable knowledge of sound, lighting, and computer technology used in theater / concert events.  Possession of an Associate’s degree in Theatre Design and Technical Production, or equivalent is helpful; Bachelor’s degree preferred and valid driver's license is required.
