The TGIF Summer Concert Series in downtown Morganton on the historic courthouse square kicks off on Friday, May 17th. Food and beverage vendors open at 6pm and the performance starts at 7pm (goes until 10pm). The concert is FREE to attend and open to the public.

The smell of Aquanet and White Rain mixed with convenience store Polo cologne… the flash of neon and tie-dyed shirts, stonewashed denim and boom boxes carried on shoulders playing radio hits. These are the memories that come rushing back at a Sunset Strip concert event. Be ready to party like it is the summer of 1987 all over again. Enjoy all the crazy, face-melting hair metal and arena rock hits as you relive the best summer nights of your life while rocking the night away with Sunset Strip.
