Daylight Breaking and Entering Foiled by Camera

Morganton Department of Public Safety Officers responded to 605 W. Fleming Dr. for reports of a Breaking and Entering in progress.  Officers arrived on scene and located Austen James Bowie, DOB 08/24/1996 walking away from the building. Bowie had been observed on security camera's attempting to enter through a locked backdoor and damaging the power meter.  A search of his person produced Burglary Tools, Drug Paraphernalia, and Marijuana.  Bowie was taken into custody where he was charged with Breaking and Entering, Damage to Property, as well as the aforementioned offenses.  Bowie received a court date of February 1st and a $10,000 secure bond.
