Interdiction Officer locates Stolen Motor Vehicle in Morganton
On November 21, 2023, an Interdiction Officer with the Morganton Department of Public Safety was patrolling W Union Street when she located a vehicle that had been reported stolen earlier this day in Burke County. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and found Raymond Richard Todd Rice, 38, of Lenoir and Violet Dessie Foster, 33, of Morganton, to be inside the vehicle. The occupants were charged with the following offenses:
