Man Arrested for Indecent Exposure at Walmart, for the Second Time

On February 8, 2024 at 09:38 a.m., Morganton Department of Public Safety Officers responded to Walmart located at 120 Morganton Heights Blvd in reference to a report of indecent exposure.  Responding officers spoke with numerous customers who said that a white male was exposing his genitalia to them inside the store.  Officers located the man in Walmart and identified him as Tristan Douglas Coffey of Caldwell County.  Coffey was transported to the magistrates office where he was charged with indecent exposure and given a $2,000.00 secured bond and placed in the Burke County Jail.  Coffey has a court date set for March 21, 2024.  Further investigation revealed that Coffey is on probation for the same offense that occurred at Walmart.  Hi probation officer has been made aware of this incident.
