Man Arrested a Second Time for Breaking and Entering

On February 5, 2024, Officers with the Morganton Department of Public Safety responded to an address off Carbondale Lane in reference to an investigation. During the course of the investigation, Officers located Nathaniel Allen Thomas, 37, of Morganton, inside the residence. Thomas was taken into custody for misdemeanor breaking and entering. Thomas was previously arrested for misdemeanor breaking and entering as well as resisting a public officer on January 8^th, 2024, at this same location. Thomas was taken before a Magistrate where he did not receive a bond due to him currently being out of custody for a pretrial release. Thomas’ first court date is March 1, 2024.
