Traffic Stop leads to Arrest of Two Occupants
On April 1, 2023, Officers with the Morganton Department of Public Safety conducted a vehicle stop after learning the occupants had outstanding OFAs (Order for Arrests). Officers placed Wesley Jacob Jordan, 35, of Morganton and Amber Dawn Harris, 36, of Morganton under arrest. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in a large quantity of narcotics, paraphernalia, and cash being located inside of the vehicle. Both occupants received additional charges as a result of the contraband. The following are listed charges for both subjects:
