Traffic Stop Leads to Felony Drug Arrest

Setzer

On April 2, 2023, Officers with the Morganton Department of Public Safety conducted a vehicle stop on Todd Alan Setzer, 40, of Morganton. During the course on the investigation, it was discovered that Setzer was in possession of multiple baggies of illegal narcotics. Officers seized a total of 11.2 grams of Methamphetamine from Setzer as well as drug paraphernalia. Setzer was charged with the following:

 

  • Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, Deliver Sch II CS

 

Setzer received a $20,000 secured bond and first appearance in district court for 04/03/2023
