Morganton Man Arrested After Disturbance Involving Firearm

On Wednesday, March 6, 2024, Morganton Department of Public Safety officers were dispatched to a disturbance call at 665 W Fleming Dr involving firearms.  Officers arrived on scene and detained the two subjects involved in the disturbance.  One firearm was located on one of the subjects involved.

Upon further investigation, Joshua Ray Ross, 44, of Morganton, was charged with Intoxicated and Disruptive and Resisting a Public Officer.  Ross was held under a $5,000.00 secured bond at the Burke County Jail.
