Multiple Car Break-In's Reported

Morganton Public Safety Officer's responded to the report of multiple cars broken into near Freedom High School on Thursday evening.  Officers arrived to discover five vehicles had been entered through broken windows and various items such as purses and electronics were reported stolen.  The incident was reported around 6:30pm and officers searched the area around the school and Greenway following the incident.  Video surveillance footage has been obtained in the case.  Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Morganton Department of Public Safety.
