Warrant Service

On February 29th 2024, Morganton Public Safety Officer's observed Jordan Izzahrian Johnson DOB 09/05/1993 of 506 Rockyford St. Morganton, sitting inside the passenger area of a vehicle at Walmart Neighborhood Market.  Officer's knew Johnson to have an outstanding felony warrant for Assault by Strangulation.  When officer's attempted to arrest Johnson, he resisted by attempting to dive back into the vehicle.  Officer's were able to take Johnson into custody.  He was then transported to Burke County Jail where he was served for his outstanding warrant, and charged additionally with Resist, Obstruct, and Delay.  He received a total of $23,000 secure bond and has a scheduled first appearence court date of 03/01/2024.
