City to host fireworks show

The City of Morganton is happy to announce we will host fireworks again this year on July 4th! The show is planned to start at 9:45pm (depending on weather) at Freedom Park on Independence Boulevard. The park will be closed all day for set-up. We ask citizens to park in a safe place nearby to view the show. Make sure to get a good spot nearby and watch us light up the sky in honor of our independence. We hope to see you there!
