Freedom Park closed to the public this week

Freedom Park will be closed to the public Tuesday June 15, through Thursday, June 17. Contractors are resurfacing the entryway to Freedom Park from Independence Boulevard, and will need to close the park to finish paving.

Visitors should avoid going to Freedom Park until Friday, June 18, as no access will be allowed to the public while work is being performed. While work at Freedom Park is being completed, visitors are encouraged to visit one of Morganton’s many other parks. For a full list of our park locations, visit our Parks page.
