Temporary road closure announced by NCDOT

The City of Morganton has been notified by North Carolina Department of Transportation that a private road used as one of the entrances of the Morganton Heights Shopping Center will be temporarily closed starting on Wednesday, October 18^th due to the bridge construction.

The entrance being closed is in between Panera/ Aspen Dental and Urgent Care. It will remain closed for an extended amount of time until construction in the area is complete, estimated by NCDOT to be 12-18 months. Please use the two remaining entrances while the closure is taking place.
